Actor
I’ve been performing since the age of twelve, when I first stepped on stage in my home state of Louisiana. Since then, acting has been my life’s work.
After moving to New York, I trained with the Atlantic Theater Company, founded by David Mamet and William H. Macy. I quickly began booking roles on daytime soaps, including a recurring part on All My Children. My screen credits have since expanded to include appearances on nearly every major network and streaming platform, with roles in hit series such as Law & Order: Organized Crime, Daredevil, and The Blacklist.
The stage remains my first love. I’ve been honored with a “Best One-Man Drama” award for my solo performance in Michael Miller’s Transfiguration, and a Best Actor nomination from BroadwayWorld for playing Eddie Carbone in A View from the Bridge. Other highlights include originating the role of Mickey in The Love Junkies of Hell’s Kitchen and appearing in the New York premiere of Carol Carpenter’s Sweet, Sweet Spirit.
Whether on stage, on set, or in the rehearsal room, I bring discipline, emotional honesty, and a deep respect for story to every role. You can view my full screen credits at IMDb.me/garyhilborn.
